Jordan Valley Outfitters offers Guided Winter Rafting and Eco-Tours in Michigan's Jordan Valley! Just because there is snow on the ground doesn't mean that you can't enjoy paddling the Jordan River. This north woods experience is great for the entire family or as a romantic evening as you immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Jordan River Valley. See the trees and riverbanks blanketed in snow and sense the peacefulness as you are guided down the river.
We have teamed with several lodging establishments in the area to include a Guided Winter Raft trip as part of your adventure weekend getaway.

The Basic Guided Winter Rafting Trip includes a stop along the rivers edge for a hot beverage, snack and to take in the natural wonder. Time outdoors is about 2 hours. A guided snowshoe hike (snowshoes provided) is an option that you may add to explore further into the snow-covered forest. Hikes are tailored to your group for length and ease.
As dusk draws near, our Guided Winter Rafting Dinner Trip adventure begins. Clear starry nights; the crisp glow of a full moon, rivals your dinner prepared along the riverbank (non dinner trips are available). As you settle in along the riverbank you start with an appetizer tray filled with cheese, crackers, olives and marinated mushrooms or pickles. Save room for the main meal of fruit salad, homemade bread or rolls and a dinner packet, your choice of beef, chicken or all veggie. And to finish off, a dessert of Kay's famous pound cake or brownies, and of course a hot beverage. As we finish paddling by moon or starlight, this is sure to be an adventure you won't soon forget.

❖Group rates(10% discount, no discount on “child” rate and only apply to the non- snowshoeing or snowshoeing raft trip) for churches, schools and scouts do not apply to holidays or weekends and must be paid by organization check or credit card. No discounts on Moonlight Dinner trip.
Our Guided Winter raft trip deposit is $20.00 per person. Holiday trips (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day and Valentine's Day) please call or email for rates.
All cancellations with at least 1 week (7 day) notice will receive a store credit good for the full amount of the deposit for 1 year from the original reservation date. With less than 1 week (7 day) notice you will receive a store credit good for 1/2 of the deposit amount which will be good for 60 days from the original reservation date.

The week between Christmas and New Years we will be open each day 9:30-5:30.
Prepaid trips postponed by Jordan Valley Outfitters due to weather or river conditions beyond our control will receive a credit good for one (1) year from date of original trip date.
Jordan Valley Outfitters operates under the special use permit authorized by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources adopted in 2006. Our equipment is inspected annually by the Charlevoix County Sheriff's Department Marine Division.
Hold Harmless - An agreement to participate waiver form. Each person must provide a signed form. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign also.
