Jordan Valley Outfitters provides canoeing, kayaking and rafting on the Jordan River in Michigan

In the heart of the Jordan Valley, many paddling opportunities abound.

The pristine scenery of the Jordan Valley makes canoeing and kayaking the Jordan River an awesome experience. Our staff will gladly assist you in matching your paddling abilities to the proper section of river. There are sections of faster water with narrows, fallen trees and sharp bends to challenge more experienced paddlers. Other areas of the river are wider and a little slower, but no less beautiful, so all paddlers can enjoy the river with confidence.

Canoeing is always a favorite way to paddle, however kayaking is an adventurous way to explore the river. Tandem kayaking can be twice the fun. Our family rafts allow everyone from grandparents to small children to participate. On those HOT HOT days, tubing is the way to go. Trips vary in length, one, two and three hour durations, but because your car is parked at the takeout, you can enjoy the river at your own pace and then go on to your next adventure. Trips depart from our shop every hour, on the hour in the summer season; however reservations are requested. especially for groups, so that we can best serve you.

	Car spotting ($25) is available as space permits (transportation of your own canoe or kayak, per arm on trailer)
	We do not recommend bringing a dog on the river.
	Middle rider in a canoe is an additional $5.00

We were the first outfitter on the Jordan River to operate under the special use permit authorized by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources adopted in 2006. Our equipment is inspected annually by the Charlevoix County Sheriff's Department Marine Division.

Hold Harmless - An agreement to participate waiver form. Each person must provide a signed form. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign also.
