"Hey guys, this is Joe, aka Cookie Monster, who
was on the Tuesday trip. We are still reveling in the fun we had and telling
everyone we know.
Later!
PS: We have some great pictures to help us
remember."
Additional pictures can be found on our Scrapbook page. The Basic Guided Winter Rafting Trip includes a stop along the rivers edge for a hot beverage, snack and to take in the natural wonder. Time outdoors is about 2 hours. A guided snowshoe hike (snowshoes provided) is an option that you may add to explore further into the snow-covered forest. Hikes are tailored to your group for length and ease. As dusk draws near, our Guided Winter Rafting Dinner Trip adventure begins. Clear starry nights; the crisp glow of a full moon, rivals your dinner prepared along the riverbank. As you settle in along the riverbank you start with an appetizer tray filled with cheese, crackers, olives and marinated mushrooms or pickles. Save room for the main meal of fruit salad, homemade bread or rolls and a dinner packet, your choice of beef, chicken or all veggie. And to finish off, a dessert of Kay's famous pound cake or brownies, and of course a hot beverage. As we finish paddling by moon or starlight, this is sure to be an adventure you won't soon forget. Be the first among your friends to say "I went winter rafting in Michigan."
