Current River Conditions
Last Updated: July 2nd, 2026
The Jordan River is currently at a higher level, with deeper water and faster flow. The river has been scouted for hazards since our last storm, and there is a cluster of trees blocking the entire river just after Graves Crossing; everything from Old State access and down has no portages. It is advisable to avoid the upper stretch of the river unless your paddling ability is at an intermediate level.

As always, the Jordan River contains numerous natural obstacles, including overhanging trees, low branches, and woody debris, so paddlers should remain alert and use caution throughout their trip.
