Current River Conditions
Updated May 30th 2:00pm
The Jordan River is currently running at a normal water level with typical depth and flow conditions. Paddlers should be aware that a tree is currently blocking the entire river channel just downstream of Old State Road Bridge. For inexperienced paddlers, a portage around this obstruction on the left side of the river is recommended. More experienced paddlers may be able to navigate the obstruction depending on current conditions and skill level. Aside from this blockage, no other significant river hazards have been reported at this time. As always, the Jordan River contains numerous natural obstacles, including overhanging trees, low branches, and woody debris, so paddlers should remain alert and use caution throughout their trip.
